STEM Role Models

Diversity in Technology REED have developed a You Tube Channel for use in schools using videos of IT leaders acting as role models for different backgrounds. The videos are currently used in schools to help young people identify with careers in IT and Tech, especially young women and BAME young people.

Currently the channels is split into the following categories:

• Women in Tech
• BAME IT Professionals
• IT Leadership
• Inclusive Employers

There is a large pool of videos already and the plan is to continue to build this out so REED can offer a large range of role models for schools to use with young people. There is no fee or obligation for schools, REED see it is our commitment to help young people.
