STEM In the Park is a FREE event aimed at inspiring young people to consider STEM subjects and the varied careers available in and within STEM in a fun and inspiring way. The focus is about getting children excited about STEM early in life and showing them how fun and rewarding a career in STEM sectors can be.
The event offers a chance for parents/carers to speak with local business and exhibitors about vital careers information and the various career routes available to their children in STEM fields including aviation, construction, geoscience and healthcare. For KS3/4 students, advice can be sought on Apprenticeship Schemes, Industry Placements, Undergraduate Courses and Graduate Programmes.
