Pride Month is celebrated every June in the UK, giving members of the LGBTQ+ community an opportunity to celebrate diversity, raise awareness and peacefully protest discrimination.

Schools should seek to develop and maintain an environment that welcomes diversity, supports equality and encourages staff and pupils to be themselves. This includes supporting staff and pupils who are part of the LGBTQ+ community.
